Science Channel’s New Series: Mysteries of the Missing

unnamed(UPDATED 9/6/2017) For the past year and a half, I have been a regular narrative/scholarly contributor to a Science Channel show called What On Earth? Click here to see a list of my previous work.

Last spring, I was asked to contribute to a new series titled Mysteries of the Missing, which premieres Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 10:00 pm EDT. It is possible that I will show up on the following episodes:

  • 9/9/2017 – Season 1, Episode 3: “Rogue Waves/Lost Ship”
  • 9/16/2017 – Season 1, Episode 4: “Alcatraz Escapes”
  • Date TBA – Season 1, Episode __: “El Dorado/Viking Sunstone”
  • Date TBA – Season 1, Episode __: “Sinkhole/Roanoke”

I’m looking forward to seeing them! This series looks great and it is hosted by Terry O’Quinn, who played the character “John Locke” on the TV Series Lost. Click here for a complete list of season 1 episodes.

    • Hi Martha,
I was as surprised as you were. I guess they changed the schedule but did not update the website. I think the best bet is to watch for Science Channel Facebook posts a couple of days prior to each Saturday. I finally figured out on Friday that the 9/16 episode would be on Alcatraz. I forgot to update here. I look forward to seeing it too! Thanks for your interest.
      Dave
